Role responsibilities
- Delivering client proposals and tenders in conjunction with Zutari’s client strategic objectives such as bid planning facilitation, writing, technical inputs, and costing.
- Ensuring full responsibility and accountability for all design aspects within electrical & electronic services, within the Built Environment, from conceptional to final design.
- Developing specifications, cost estimates, and final construction tender documentation.
- Implementation of all relevant codes of practice and ensuring that all design aspects / project standards comply with Zutari’s quality control procedures.
- Competent in Revit, BIM 360 with clear skill capability that can be proven ability to recognize priorities and manage time appropriately.
- Good interpersonal skills, good oral and written communication skills.
- A great can-do attitude, where you listen, think, and respond to clients’ needs to co-create appropriate and sustainable solutions.
- You delight in working in a team, where you willingly contribute your value and teach others with your experience.
Minimum requirements
- BSc/BEng or BTech in Electrical Engineering.
- Candidate engineer/technologist with Engineering Council of South Africa (ECSA). Professionally registered individuals will be considered.
- Minimum of 3 years in the Built Environment or within an infrastructure engineering consultancy.
- Professional proficiency on design software i.e. Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks, etc.
- Professional competency on BIM.
- Regulatory and compliance proficiency i.e. SANS, IEC, OHSAS, NBR, etc.
- Project planning and scheduling.
- Team player.
