Title: Electrical Engineer

Location: Omaha, NE
Job Description
- Design, develop, modify, and
evaluate systems, processes, or facilities to support Company objectives. - Develop electrical
engineering studies, plans, specifications, calculations, evaluations,
design documents, and performance assessments. - Determine and implement
methods and techniques for obtaining electrical engineering design
results. - Guide and direct associate
level engineers, technicians and electrical CAD designers. - Recommend alternative
solutions to management in area of specialty on engineering solutions to
meet business needs. - Deliver on commitments and
manage outside engineering services by direct communication to accomplish
the assigned work. - Analyze and design
engineering methods. Including analytical and problem-solving skills. - Candidates should have
critical thinking and decision-making skills to develop and present
technical recommendations.
Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor of Science degree in
electrical engineering from an ABET-accredited college/university. - A minimum of two years of
directly related experience in engineering-related field. - Knowledge and application of
principles in area of electrical engineering specialty. - Preference given to
candidates with 480 V power distribution and, Modbus,
DeviceNet/ControlNet/Ethernet communication experience. - Excellent oral and written
communication skills. Including strong technical writing skills including
the ability to communicate a basic understanding of technical information
to non-technical people. - Project management skills:
ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks and projects concurrently. - Understanding of Company’s
business, and relevant policies, procedures, and practices. - Knowledge of applicable
federal, state, local laws, regulations and the National Electric Codes. - Ability to provide timely
assessments with limited information and/or assumptions.
