Job description

Position Description:
The Electrical Engineering Department is seeking a motivated student to serve as a Teaching Assistant for the EGR 203 Circuits Laboratory. The Lab TA will assist students during scheduled lab sessions by helping them understand lab procedures, troubleshoot circuit issues, and reinforce concepts learned in class. This is an excellent opportunity to strengthen your technical skills while mentoring fellow engineering students.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Assist students with EGR 203 laboratory exercises.
  • Help students understand lab instructions and experimental procedures.
  • Troubleshoot breadboard circuits and measurement issues.
  • Guide students to the proper use of laboratory equipment, including power supplies, multimeters, and oscilloscopes.
  • Encourage good engineering practice and safe laboratory procedures.
  • Answer student questions while promoting independent problem-solving.

Qualifications:
  • Successfully completed EGR 203 with a strong academic performance.
  • Proficient in building and troubleshooting circuits on a breadboard.
  • Good understanding of basic circuit analysis and electronic components.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Reliable, patient, and willing to help fellow students learn.
Days and times:
Section-1 Thursdays 12.30pm to 2pm
