Job Description

Industry: Aerospace/Defense

Position: Electrical Source Inspector

Duration: On-going contract 

Frequency: 8hrs per week

 

Verify Inc. is seeking an experienced Source Inspector to perform inspections on Printed Wire Boards (PWBs) and Printed Circuit Boards (PCBs) at a supplier site in  Forest Grove, OR. This is a critical role requiring expertise in electronics inspection and familiarity with defense and aerospace industry standards. This flexible, part-time role is an excellent opportunity for retirees with extensive electronics inspection experience who are looking to stay engaged and make a meaningful contribution to the aerospace and defense industry.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct visual and dimensional inspections on electronic assemblies and sub-assemblies, focusing on printed boards.
  • Review and verify parts against engineering drawings, customer purchase orders, industry standards, and specifications.
  • Document and report inspection results (accept/reject) directly to the customer using web applications or Microsoft Office tools.
  • Ensure all necessary documentation is completed accurately and submitted in a timely manner.

Qualitifications:

 

Experience: Minimum 10 years of hands-on experience in electronics inspection, specifically with printed boards, in aerospace, defense, or manufacturing environments.Certifications:

  • Required: IPC-600 Certification 
  • Comprehensive knowledge of electronics and defense requirements.
  • Strong attention to detail and proficiency in reporting inspection results.
