Job Description

Job Responsibilities

As an Frac Electronic Technician, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing the electronic systems that support our operations. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Installing, maintaining, and repairing electronic equipment and systems.
  • Reading and interpreting schematic diagrams and technical manuals.
  • Troubleshooting hardware and software issues to ensure optimal performance.
  • Updating system software and implementing necessary upgrades.
  • Collaborating with engineering and operations teams to improve system efficiency.
  • Conducting regular inspections and preventive maintenance on electronic systems.
  • Documenting all maintenance and repair activities in compliance with company standards.
  • Participating in training and development programs to enhance your skills and knowledge.

Required Qualifications

  • Associate degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as an electronic technician or a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of electronic principles and circuit design.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical documents and schematics.
  • Familiarity with electronic testing equipment and tools.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Willingness to work a 14 days on, 7 days off schedule, including overnight travel.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and industrial automation systems.
  • Knowledge of safety protocols and regulations in the oil and gas industry.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical personnel.
