Mid-Level Engineers must have:
A) an associate’s degree in a technical field (this could include, but is not limited to: computer science, computer engineering, engineering, engineering management, information science, information systems management, information technology, mathematics, operations research, statistics, technology management and system engineering), with ten (10) years of U.S. Navy Combat Systems experience, OR
B) a bachelor's degree in a technical field (this could include, but is not limited to: computer science, computer engineering, engineering, engineering management, information science, information systems management, information technology, mathematics, operations research, statistics, technology management and system engineering), with five (5) years of relevant engineering experience (this could include, but is not limited to experience in DoD systems architectures, design, development, and test and evaluation; experience in concept definition, requirements definition and initial and detailed system design activities), OR
B) a master's in a technical field (this could include, but is not limited to: computer science, computer engineering, engineering, engineering management, information science, information systems management, information technology, mathematics, operations research, statistics, technology management and system engineering), with two (2) years of relevant engineering experience (this could include, but is not limited to experience in DoD systems architectures, design, development, and test and evaluation; experience in concept definition, requirements definition and initial and detailed system design activities)
