Halff has an open position for a Structural Engineer, with a Texas PE License, to join our growing Structural team in our Richardson office. This position is for an individual with at least 4 years of experience in Structural / Bridge Engineering interested in working on a variety of structural engineering projects. What you will do:
- Will design a variety of complete structural engineering projects such as hydraulic structures, retaining walls, and vehicular bridges.
- Will manage production of construction drawings for own work.
- Will review contractor submittals during construction.
- Will coordinate effort with clients as well as in-house engineers.
- Will assist in training less experienced staff.
- Will provide CAD assistance when necessary.
What you will need:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil/Architectural Engineering or ABET accredited equivalent Engineering degree.
- Master’s Degree in Civil/Architectural Engineering with a Structural emphasis or ABET accredited equivalent Engineering degree preferred.
- 4+ years of experience in Structural Engineering Design.
- Professional Engineer (PE) License in Texas.
- MicroStation, Revit or AutoCAD training is a plus.
