Inviting applications for the role of AVP, Engineering Lead, R&D 

 

In this role, you will lead the development of an umbrella of products targeting Fortune 500 enterprise companies.  This is a great opportunity to work in a dynamic, agile, and challenging environment. 

 

Responsibilities 

  • Be responsible for the overall product development lifecycle 
  • Lead operations activities in the following disciplines: Full stack, DevOps, Automation, and Low-Code Development 
  • Manage the day-to-day activities of the engineering teams within an Agile/Scrum environment 
  • Mentor and grow team engineers by creating and implementing best practices and establishing a suitable protocol that ensures code quality and productivity 
  • Understand business and functional requirements and ensure that the underlying implementation reflects the current and future needs for the product roadmap 
  • Report on the status of development, quality, and operations to the relevant stakeholders 
  • Work closely with the VP R&D and other stakeholders to create a roadmap that supports our evolving products and organize work effectively 

 

Qualifications we seek in you! 

Minimum Qualifications / Skills 

  • Over two years of experience in a leadership position: team lead, development manager, or architect  
  • Experience in designing, building, and maintaining enterprise-grade products 
  • Strong in fundamentals of enterprise architectural patterns 
  • Experience working with relational and non-relational databases, message brokers, and RESTful services 
  • Experience with Scrum and Agile methodology 
  • Fluent in spoken and written English 

 

Preferred Qualifications/ Skills 

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent 
  • Hands-on development experience in core Microsoft .NET technologies (.NET framework / .NET 5) 
  • Experience with cloud platforms, such as Azure and AWS 
  • Experience in developing products in regulated industries
