Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Build and manage multiple high performance Software Development teams
- Deliver high quality enterprise grade software and managing end-to-end development
- Collaborate across teams to prioritize, plan and execute application releases
- Engage in hands-on design, architecture, tools/methods with software engineers and architects
- Hire, manage, mentor developers and handle people related issues
- Help team and take responsibility to diagnose, de-bug and analyze production issues.
- Work with Onshore / Offshore stakeholders on overall delivery
- Implement automation and agentic workflows to drive AI-first architecture and maximize value realization.
Skills, Experience and Requirements
- Engineering degree with overall experience of about 14+ years with 3+ years of experience in managing a team of 10 to 12 developers.
- 6+ years experience in developing and maintaining enterprise systems built using Java, Spring Boot, Rest API using Microservice architecture and Event driven systems
- Deep understanding of distributed systems, database and caching techniques
- Good experience with any cloud based solutions ( AWS Preferred) and DevOps tools like Jenkins, Gitlab, Kubernetes, etc
- Experience leveraging AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Amazon Q/Kiro, GitHub Copilot) to improve engineering productivity and code quality
- Well versed with building AI solutions using Agentic Workflows, RAG, etc
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with proven ability to influence technical and executive stakeholders across global teams
