Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Engineering Manager with a strong background in SAP CAP and Node.js to lead our engineering team.

This role involves overseeing technical projects, fostering collaboration, and driving innovation while maintaining industry best practices.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct code reviews and ensure features adhere to clean code and design principles
  • Monitor applications, troubleshoot issues, and resolve bugs to maintain system integrity
  • Write comprehensive technical and user documentation
  • Collaborate with the team to track performance and address needs effectively
  • Engage with customers and stakeholders to address technical topics and provide metrics to management
  • Participate in the setup, improvement, and execution of development processes
  • Provide architectural and design decisions to guide technical implementations

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in SAPUI5, BTP, HANA, CAP, Node.js, CI/CD (Jenkins, Piper, Webdriver.io), with a broad technological perspective
  • Proven experience leading teams of 10+ people with a focus on cloud technologies, SAP, architecture, and organizational mentoring
  • Proficiency in design principles and microservice architecture
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban
  • Basic understanding of JavaScript and Node.js
  • Knowledge of SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP), HANA database, and SAP CAP (Java and Node.js)
  • English proficiency at B2 level or higher
