Summary
The Engineering I position is responsible for assisting with the development, implementation and administration of assigned programs in the engineering function. Essential responsibilities for this level include assisting with the support for operations and maintenance; assisting with the development and implementation of assigned programs; assisting in the review of system and component performance and recommendations for improvement; and serving as an advocate for improving overall plant performance and reliability.
Special Skills, Knowledge and Qualifications
•Ability to obtain and maintain unescorted access.
•Strong written and verbal communications skills required.
•Ability to work independently and interface with all levels of personnel.
•Knowledge of design, operations, maintenance and testing
•Ability to read and interpret engineering documents and drawings
•Ability to use a personal computer and current software.
Education
•Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, preferably Mechanical, Electrical, Civil or Nuclear Engineering.
Experience
•0 - 2 Years engineering experience.
