BecTech is looking for skilled and talented engineers and analysts with experience in systems engineering, requirements development, Naval weapons systems, combat systems (Aegis), or advanced applications in science and space technology to fill positions with the Missile Defense Agency (MDA). These positions are located in Dahlgren, VA. We have other positions to fill Huntsville, AL which are posted separately.

Responsibilities (specifics depend on the specific office):

• Provide direct support to MDA program offices in optimizing the capabilities of the Aegis Weapons System and STANDARD Missile.
• Streamline the processs to support schedule, cost, risk reduction.
• Under the purview of MDA, provide support for requirement verification (onsite test observation and inspection).
• Provide data management and configuration management.
• Provide technical support by reviewing changes and participating in Working Groups.
• Provide integration and validation support of mechanical, electrical, and integrated systems.
• Program management analysis support for program lifecycle cost, program planning, schedule, and risk management.

Requirements:

• US Citizenship with Secret security clearance (ability to obtain TS/SCI is a plus)
  
• Master's degree (Analysts) or Master's degree in a technical field (engineers)
  
• 12+ years of related experience
• Familiarity with the Naval weapons systems, particularly the Aegis Weapon System
• Ability to work independently, as a team member, or leading teams/tasks
  
• Ability to recognize complex problems and apply critical thinking as well as sound analysis principles to solve problems

ADA SPECIFICATIONS:

• Regular physical activity to include walking, climbing stairs, and standing; frequent period of prolonged sitting may be required.
• Ability to speak, read, hear, and write, with or without assistance.
