Job Description and Duties

Are you a high performing analyst looking for an opportunity to solve problems alongside State Fund’s exceptional executive team? Join State Fund’s Executive Office and take your career to the next level!

 

The Executive Office is looking for highly organized and proactive Executive Program Analysts that will facilitate executive budget planning, staffing solutions, and otherwise support an assigned executive in all of their functional program, operational, and management areas. The ideal candidates will have demonstrated experience assisting an Executive and will be comfortable managing complex administrative tasks, handling confidential information, and supporting day-to-day operations in a fast-paced environment.

 

This position is located in Sacramento and requires travel to our Sacramento, Pleasanton and Vacaville offices.

 

Desirable Qualifications

 

Our ideal candidate will also demonstrate the following:

 

  • Experience directly supporting a senior Executive or working directly with a Senior Executive on highly sensitive projects.
  • Experience working with a Board of Directors.
  • Experience coordinating complex administrative and operational functions (calendar management, travel coordination, budgets/reimbursements, records management, etc.) for a senior Executive in accordance with organizational policies.
  • Experience facilitating/coordinating/executing meetings and communications on behalf of a senior Executive.
  • Expert level proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint to develop clear, professional, executive-level presentations.
  • Ability to create, manage, and maintain complex Excel tables, reports, and database-style tracking systems with a high level of accuracy.
  • Maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment when handling sensitive information.

Working Conditions

This position requires occasional (monthly) travel to Executive and Board meetings. Occasional overnight travel may be required.


The successful candidate must reside in California upon appointment.

Selected candidate(s) hired may be required to attend in-person Onboarding at our Vacaville office with expenses for attendance paid by State Fund.

Effective July 1, 2025, the State of California implemented the Personal Leave Program 2025 (PLP 2025) which reduces an employee’s monthly salary in exchange for leave credits. Employees appointed to this classification will have their monthly salary reduced and will accrue hours of PLP 2025 on the first day of each pay period in accordance with the applicable bargaining contract.
