What You’ll Be Doing
- Operate heavy equipment to move dirt, rock, and other materials
- Spread, grade, and level materials on roadbeds and job sites
- Read grade and adjust machine settings as needed
- Perform daily pre-shift equipment inspections
- Coordinate with crew members using hand and audio signals
- Load and transport materials using equipment and trucks
- Inspect, clean, maintain, and assist with minor equipment repairs
- Work outdoors in all weather conditions and flexible hours (including nights/weekends as needed)
- Follow all safety rules, company policies, and jobsite procedures
- Report any safety concerns, equipment issues, or incidents to your supervisor
What We’re Looking For
- 3+ years of experience in civil construction
- At least 2 years of verifiable heavy equipment operating experience
- Valid driver’s license
- Willingness to travel to multiple job sites
- Able to pass pre-employment screening (including drug screen and background check)
- Strong work ethic and team-first mindset
- Takes safety seriously and communicates well with the crew
