Assist in updating and maintaining labs in the department
Position Duties
The work study student will be working in our Electronic lab. Duties will be installing software on existing workstations, upgrading existing workstations, assisting the instructor to ensure all the necessary parts are available for the hardwire labs and doing light housekeeping to keep the computers, printers, monitors, and related equipment clean and free of dust. Ensure the tool boards and bench equipment are in proper locations. Organize the room, cabinets and storage closet. Work study student must be willing to learn electronic components in order to place them in the proper storage bin.
Minimum Qualifications
Read, write, use of computer/printer, MS Excel, MS Word. Be willing to learn new tasks.
Must be eligible for Federal Work-Study as determined by the Financial Aid Office
Must be enrolled in at least 6 hours - half-time
