Job Description
You will be the Field Service Representative (FSR) for the HIMARS/MLRS Team. Our team delivers world class sustainment for the U.S. Marine Corps HIMARS program—designing, diagnosing, and repairing the rocket launcher’s electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems so the warfighter always has precision firepower when it counts.
What You Will Be Doing
As the HIMARS FSR you will be the technical liaison between Lockheed Martin and the Marine Corps, providing hands on fault isolation, diagnostics, and repair while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and customer focus. You’ll operate from Camp Pendleton, California, but you must be ready to deploy to OCONUS and, when required, to combat zones.
Your responsibilities will include:
• Perform detailed troubleshooting, fault isolation, and corrective action on HIMARS/MLRS electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical subsystems.
• Execute scheduled and unscheduled maintenance in accordance with Lockheed Martin and U.S. MC specifications.
• Serve as the primary technical point of contact for the customer, fostering a positive, solution oriented relationship.
• Document all work performed in technical logs, maintenance records, and after action reports.
• Travel to and support forward operating locations, including OCONUS and war zone sites, as dictated by operational needs.
• Complete post offer, pre employment physicals and maintain deployable status.
• Obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance and acquire a U.S. passport within the first 60 days of hire.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, sharing lessons learned and best practices with the broader HIMARS sustainment community.

This position is in Camp Pendleton, CA.
MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must possess a Final Secret clearance.
Basic Qualifications
• Troubleshooting: Diagnosing faults in electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems.
• Repair & Replacement: Fixing or replacing faulty assemblies, modules, and cables.
• Maintenance: Performing unit-level to Depot level maintenance on launchers (M270, HIMARS), knowledge on test equipment, and ability to use training devices.
• Documentation: Completing maintenance forms, logs, and records. A working knowledge of Microsoft products.
• Technical Skills: Working with schematics, wiring diagrams, and specialized test equipment like the IETM.
• Quality Assurance & Safety: Conduct functional tests and post repair verification to ensure compliance with performance specifications and safety standards. Identify and report non-conforming conditions; recommend corrective actions to senior leadership and engineering support.
Desired skills
• Physical Requirements: Ability to lift 55 lb., work in confined spaces, and operate at heights as required by launcher maintenance.
• Liaison & Training: Coordinate and conduct briefings with senior levels of unit command and lower levels of unit personnel to include hip pocket training of the HIMARS fire control system. To represent Lockheed Martin and the LCLS Program as the Subject Matter Experts in the right choice for logistics and sustainment support.
