Job Description

Strittmatter Wealth Management Group (SWMG) is seeking a driven and detail-oriented Financial Planning graduate to join our Advisor Apprenticeship Program. This multi-year career track is designed for individuals committed to becoming high-performing financial advisors. The program begins with hands-on paraplanning responsibilities and provides structured training, mentorship, and exposure to advanced planning strategies.

Job Details

Full time position with expected 40 hours per week in the Fort Worth office
Salary range of $60,000 to $75,000 plus bonus
Dress code is business professional
Hours are Monday through Thursday 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM and Friday 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM

Job Duties and Responsibilities

Prepare financial plans and recommendations for financial planning clients
Participate in the investment research process and serve as a member of the Investment Committee team
Prepare for client meetings and reviews, including reports, proposals, and financial illustrations
Take detailed notes during new client meetings
Utilize financial planning software to input client data, develop scenarios, and generate reports
Complete client assumptions, asset recommendations, and formal plan recommendation documents
Maintain strong working relationships with clients by assisting with requests and ensuring account actions are completed
Maintain accurate client records, CRM database entries, and compliance files
Request insurance quotes as needed
Coordinate with internal team members, custodians, and insurance companies
Track weekly performance results and submit reports to management
Create and update operational processes and procedures on a weekly basis
Perform additional assignments as needed

Job Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Financial Planning or related field required
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft 365 including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams, as well as Adobe Acrobat
Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to work independently and collaborate effectively within a team environment
Professional written and verbal communication skills suitable for client facing interactions
High level of organization, reliability, and accountability
Strong client service orientation with a commitment to responsiveness and follow through
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities without sacrificing accuracy or quality
Consistent ability to meet deadlines in a fast paced, performance driven environment
Process oriented and results driven mindset with a focus on continuous improvement
Minimum of three professional references required
