First Shift Production Supervisor

The 1st Shift Supervisor will provide leadership and guidance to a team for 40-50 team members. This candidate will have the authority on personnel decisions, hiring, performance, and/or disciplinary action. The ideal candidate will have the ability think critically, meet deadlines, and lead a dynamic team.

1st Shift Hours: Monday-Friday, 5am-3:30pm; Saturdays, as needed
 

What You Will Do:

  • Implements and administers organizational functions or processes, ensuring that they are completed accurately, on time, and in compliance with established policies and regulations.

  • Tracks processes, preparing reports for management detailing quality or quality of departmental actions.

  • Assigns staff to tasks based on availability or expertise.

  • Monitors team or department efficiency and ensures that output meets expectations.

What You Need to Succeed:

  • High School Diploma and 3+ years of Supervisory or Leadership experience required

  • Proven track record of leading teams and people

  • Analytical mindset

  • Working knowledge of lean principles and methodologies

Additional Preferred Skills and Qualifications:

  • Associates or Bachelor's Degree

  • Experience in a manufacturing setting
