Job Purpose

Flight Simulator Engineer Apprentice I
Graduate Programme (UAE Nationals)

About the Role
Step into the world of aviation with our Flight Simulator Engineering Training Programme. This 5.5-year structured journey starts with an 18-month academic and hands-on training phase. You'll learn how to maintain, troubleshoot and support state-of-the-art flight simulators used by Emirates pilots and crew.
From day one, you’ll be placed in technical departments, receive academic support from aviation institutions, and get exposure to real-world simulator systems. Your development will be closely guided with regular progress reviews, practical tasks, and knowledge checks to prepare you for a full-time engineering role upon programme completion.

This role requires shift work, including night shifts and physical activity in technical environments.

What You’ll Do
Learn how simulators operate and support daily technical tasks.
Join engineering teams for real-time maintenance and troubleshooting.
Apply your university knowledge to live projects and share progress with your mentors.
Work with advanced simulator technology used to train pilots and crew.
Build your career towards becoming a Simulator Engineer in a global aviation hub.

Qualification

Who We’re Looking For
UAE National with Family Book
Age: 27 or below
Education: Bachelor’s in Aeronautical, Avionics, Aircraft Maintenance or Electrical Engineering
CGPA: Minimum 3.0
English: IELTS 6.0 or TOEFL 550
National Service: Completed or exempted
Experience: No more than 2 years post-graduation

Work Environment
This is a safety-sensitive role with exposure to:
Heights, confined spaces, and noisy environments
Heavy lifting and operating near mechanical/electrical systems
Day and night shifts on a 12-hour roster (07:00–19:00 and 19:00–07:00)
Working days: 4 working days, 4 days off (weekend shifts are included in the roster)
