Forward Deployed Engineer (Hybrid – Berlin)
We are working with a fast-growing AI startup looking for a Berlin-based Forward Deployed Engineer who is as comfortable in a customer environment as they are in a codebase. This is a role for someone who gets energy from solving hard technical problems in the field - embedding with customers, owning implementations end-to-end, and bringing the product to life in real-world, high-stakes environments. If you've worked in AI-native product environments and love the challenge of building and deploying at the edge of what's possible, this one's for you.
REQUIRED PROFILE
Experience in AI startups or AI-native product environments
Enterprise integration experience
Comfortable embedding with customers to solve technical and operational problems
Strong ownership mentality with the ability to operate independently
Able to work cross-functionally with engineering, product, founders, and customers
Strong problem-solving and implementation mindset
TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS
Strong web engineering experience
Python or TypeScript experience required (ideally both)
Experience working with AI products, AI workflows, LLMs, or modern AI tooling
Experience with APIs, integrations, deployments, or customer implementations
Technically strong enough to troubleshoot and implement solutions directly with customers
Compensation: €70k – €130k base per annum + meaningful equity
