Job Summary
Space Chimp needs positive hard-working, self-motivated, creative and resourceful Freelance Ruby on Rails Developer for our elite creative and technical freelance community. 
 
As a Space Chimp Freelance Ruby on Rails Developer, you will work directly with companies to help them achieve their goals. You must be up to date with evolving Developer best practices and have experience implementing successful strategies. You must have experience working directly with customers and delivering amazing work.
 
Key Qualifications
  • Professional experience in web development, preferably in Ruby on Rails or another MVC environment
  • Relational database experience using MySQL or PostgreSQL
  • Experience in HTML, CSS, JavaScript
  • Experience developing with MVC frameworks
  • Ability to administer web deployments on Linux with Nginx and related technologies
  • Experience with AJAX, jQuery, Backbone.js, and/or other modern JavaScript frameworks
