Job Description

We are searching for a Frontend Developer with strong JavaScript expertise to become part of our team.

In this position, you will help build sophisticated web applications while working hand in hand with architecture, integration, and product teams. You will play an important role in shaping technical solutions and supporting cross-team initiatives across the wider engineering community.

Responsibilities

  • Write source code for cross-functional components of high complexity using appropriate frameworks
  • Apply rules and standards during code reviews to sustain quality throughout the codebase
  • Conduct reviews and analyses in coordination with the Architecture team
  • Produce estimates and validate them together with the Technical Lead
  • Take part in technical discovery meetings to help define upcoming initiatives
  • Join internal team and portfolio meetings to stay aligned with delivery objectives
  • Participate in meetings with Integration Teams to coordinate cross-team dependencies
  • Engage in the Architecture Roundtable and assist with Cell Planning activities
  • Get involved in BCI LABS and Developers Portal initiatives to advance shared engineering practices

Requirements

  • No less than 2 years of hands-on professional experience in frontend development
  • Solid front-end proficiency in Angular, HTML5, and JavaScript
  • Integration background with Java, addressing concepts such as encapsulation, coupling, pooling, asynchronicity, transactionality, persistence, data structures, memory management, and threads
  • Strong grasp of relational data platforms including engines, SQL, constraints, stored procedures, indexes, and different types of joins
  • Awareness of NoSQL databases, along with the relevant engines and tools
  • Applied command of HTML5, CSS3, SASS (ooCSS, BEM), Bootstrap 3, and Material Design for Angular
  • Confident use of JavaScript (ES5 or higher) and Angular 5 or higher, together with libraries such as Linters and Prettier
  • Working experience with Node 8 or higher and Express 4 for backend-related tasks
  • Practical understanding of session and local storage management within the browser
  • Background in defining, developing, executing, and controlling microservices
  • Grasp of architecture definition, orchestration, and transactional capabilities for cloud and front-end solutions
  • Familiarity with the reference model for microservice architecture and the implementation of its components
  • Applied knowledge of APIs, including development, execution, and security considerations
  • Understanding of various service interfaces, API exchangers, managers, and portals
  • Working command of WADL, Markdown, YAML, or JSON for API definition and documentation
  • Confident English communication at B2 level or higher, in both written and spoken forms
