This is a remote position.
We are looking for Frontend Developers to join a large digital engineering programme delivering high-performance, scalable, and secure enterprise applications in the financial sector. The role focuses on building modern UI components in React (primary) and Angular, contributing to shared libraries, and ensuring best-practice standards across accessibility, responsiveness, and performance.
Responsibilities
• Build, refactor, and optimise UI modules in React and Angular• Translate requirements, wireframes, and UX prototypes into production ready components• Create reusable components, shared libraries, and maintain frontend architecture consistency• Optimise performance, rendering behaviour, and overall user experience• Integrate frontend applications with REST APIs and backend services• Participate in code reviews and apply clean code practices• Implement unit tests using Jest, Jasmine, Karma, React Testing Library• Collaborate with backend, design, product, and DevOps teams• Work with build tools (Webpack, Vite, NX, Lerna)• Maintain documentation and support engineering standards
Requirements
• 3–5 years of commercial experience in frontend development• Strong experience with React and Angular• Excellent understanding of JavaScript, TypeScript, DOM, and browser internals• Experience with design systems and component driven development• Solid capability with state management (NgRx, Redux, RxJS, Zustand, Jotai, Signals)• Good understanding of REST API integration patterns• Comfortable with Git in collaborative multi-branch environments• Experience writing unit tests for frontend code• Fluent English for daily work and technical documentation
Nice to have
• Experience with microfrontends or monorepo frameworks• Knowledge of frontend performance profiling tools• Familiarity with CI pipelines for frontend delivery• Accessibility experience (WCAG)• Exposure to Azure or cloud based frontend deployments
