React.js and Angular.js expertise, DPL is looking for you!
In this role, you’ll use React.js/ Angular.js workflows
such as Flux or Redux to develop and implement user interface components. With
your expertise, we aim to ensure that these components and overall applications
are robust and easy to maintain.
Technical skills aside, we’re looking for
team players who’ll collaborate and coordinate with others working on different
layers of the infrastructure. Therefore, as part of your skillset, you should
be committed to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design, and quality
products.
Responsibilities:
- Using React.js and Angular.js to develop user-facing features with
- Creating reusable components as well as front-end libraries for
future use - Optimizing the performance of components across web-capable
devices and browsers - Transforming designs and wireframes into high-quality code
Requirements
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model
- Thorough understanding of React.js/ Angular. js and its core principles
- Experience with popular React.js/Angular. js workflows (such as Flux or Redux)
- Familiarity with newer specifications of EcmaScript
- Experience with data structure libraries (e.g., Immutable.js)
- Knowledge of isomorphic React is a plus
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs
- Knowledge of modern authorization mechanisms, such as JSON Web Token
- Familiarity with modern front-end build pipelines and tools
- Experience with common front-end development tools such as Babel, Webpack, NPM, etc.
- Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements
- A knack for benchmarking and optimization
- Familiarity with code versioning tools {{such as Git, SVN, and Mercurial}}
