Role Overview:
capSpire is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Front End Developer – Senior Consultant to join our growing technology team in India. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and delivering modern, scalable, and high-performing web applications for enterprise clients in the energy and commodities domain.
You will work closely with business stakeholders, solution architects, back-end developers, and clients to build intuitive user experiences and solve complex business challenges. The ideal candidate should possess strong front-end engineering expertise, consulting mindset, problem-solving abilities, and the capability to work in fast-paced Agile environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with clients and internal stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into functional UI solutions
- Design and develop responsive, high-performance enterprise web applications using modern front-end frameworks such as React.js and Angular
- Develop reusable and maintainable front-end components using TypeScript, JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3
- Integrate front-end applications with REST and GraphQL APIs
- Work closely with back-end teams to ensure seamless integration and optimal application performance
- Contribute to technical design discussions, solution architecture, and UI engineering best practices
- Optimise applications for scalability, performance, accessibility, and cross-browser compatibilityWork with data-driven applications, including interaction with relational databases where required
- Participate in code reviews, enforce coding standards, and mentor junior developers where required
- Contribute to CI/CD implementation and support deployments in cloud environments such as Azure or AWS
- Work within Agile/Scrum delivery teams and actively participate in sprint planning, estimations, and retrospectives
- Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely resolutions in collaboration with cross-functional teams
- Create and maintain technical documentation for developed solutions
Key Requirements:
- 7-10+ years of hands-on experience in front end development
- Strong proficiency in React.js, Angular, TypeScript, JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3
- Experience integrating with REST and/or GraphQL APIs
- Strong understanding of UI design principles, performance optimisation, and accessibility standards
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
- Solid understanding of data handling and experience writing SQL (PostgreSQL, SQL Server, or similar)
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Preferred Requirements:
- Experience with cloud platforms (Azure or AWS)
- Exposure to commodity trading, risk management, or data-driven applications is a plus
