Job Summary: Under general supervision, designs, codes, tests and deploys software in all layers of the development life cycle. Provides the necessary documentation.
Duties/Responsibilities: The candidate will have software development experience working in a SAFE/Agile environment.
Daily activities include:
- Develop and maintaining Spring Boot apps and cloud-based APIs
- Conducting quality assurance reviews of peer’s application programming
- Create valid Agile stories, participate in daily standups other Agile ceremony meetings
- Research and resolve defects
- Work on CI/CD pipelines to deploy builds of software
- Act as a resource for team members with less experience
Abilities/Knowledge/Skills Considered a Plus:
- Strong Java development experience, including Spring Boot for apps/APIs
- Experience integrating apps with monitoring/alerting tools, including Splunk and AppD
- Experience with automated test tools, such as HP Mobile Center, Selenium, and Protractor
- Familiar with SAFe/Agile processes, including VersionOne experience
- Experience with CI/CD pipeline tools, including Jenkins, Maven, and Git
- Experience with SQL and the ability to check data
- Experience with cloud platforms/tools, including Pivotal Cloud Foundry (PCF)
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across project teams
- Ability to adapt to a dynamic work environment and make independent decisions
Domicile: This position will be domiciled in Collierville, TN.
Remote Work: The ability to work remotely within the United States may be available based on business need.
Relocation: Relocation assistance may be available based on business need.
Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in computer science, engineering, or information systems and/or equivalent formal training or work experience. Two (2) years’ work experience in information technology or engineering environment.
