Job Summary:
Under limited supervision, analyze and develop system requirements, program specifications, design, and code/unit test to meet business requirements/specifications for large projects. Develop or contribute to deliverables for additional levels of testing and support test execution including system level and Integration tests. Resolve production problems of medium to high complexity. The incumbents of this position are expected to perform all other related duties as assigned.

Job Specific Information
This position is to support the Revenue Edits and Rating Organization.  This position requires design and development of Revenue Systems applications in Java and related technologies. 

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Take on the role of a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on the business rules of the application and be able to develop design documents in support of new corporate initiatives
  • Perform production support duties, support of all levels of test execution and ability to diagnose system issues
  • Communicate to all levels of management and work as a member of a team

Skills/Knowledge/Experience Considered a Plus:
  • Demonstrate senior level development / support experience with two or more development languages for client-server and Web applications using Java and J2EE technologies, including: SOAP/RESTful Web Services, Spring Framework, Junit Test Framework, JMS Messaging, & Oracle RDBMS / SQL
  • Understanding of SAFe Methodology
  • Excellent analytical/problem solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong interest in remaining current with industry trends and emerging technologies

Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in computer science, engineering, or information systems and/or equivalent formal training or work experience.  One (1) years work experience in information technology or engineering environment.

Domicile: This position be can domiciled in Collierville, TN, Memphis, TN, Orlando, FL,  or Plano, TX (Dallas area).

Remote Work: The ability to work remotely within the United States may be available based on business need.

Relocation: Relocation assistance may be available based on business need.
