Under limited supervision, designs, codes, tests and deploys software in all layers of the development life cycle. Provides the necessary documentation. Works with databases, APIs, servers, networks and various programming languages.
Bachelor's Degree in computer science, engineering, information systems or related field and/or equivalent formal training or work experience. Requires three (3) years qualifying work experience in information technology or engineering environment. A related advanced degree may offset the related experience requirements.
Special requirements are: Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems or related field plus 1 year of experience in the job offered or 1 year of experience in information technology or engineering environment. The employer will alternatively accept a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent * in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems or related field plus 3 years of experience in the job offered or 3 years of experience in information technology or engineering environment in lieu of a Master's degree plus 1 year of experience. Must have 1 year experience with the following: Utilizing Java, RCP; J2EE and associated components (JDBC, EJB, JMS); Weblogic; Web Services (SOAP, REST); PL/SQL, XML, XSLT, Apache; Oracle 11g/12c, JPA; Junit, Maven; Unix/Linux/Windows/iOS, Pivotal Cloud Foundry, Jenkins. A related advanced degree may offset the related experience requirements.
