Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
Under limited supervision:

  • Design, code, test and deploy software in all layers of the development life cycle
  • Provide the necessary documentation
  • Work with databases, APIs, servers, networks and various programming languages
  • Build, maintain, and support enterprise class solutions supporting shipment information aggregation and distribution

Skills/Knowledge/Experience Considered a Plus:
  • Java/J2EE technologies including Spring Boot framework
  • Cloud Native Design, Pivotal Cloud Foundry, API First Development, Test Driven Development
  • API/Web Services: Restful, JSON, SOAP, WSDL, XML, Microservices
  • Enterprise scale event driven architecture
  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux
  • CI/CD integration using industry standard components and pipeline tools
  • Datastax Enterprise and Oracle Databases
  • Messaging technologies (JMS, Kafka, Active MQ)
  • Agile/Scrum/SAFe methodology
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for interacting and collaborating with developers, analysts, and business staff throughout the organization
  • Ability to express complex technical information in a user-friendly language and style
  • Present information effectively in one-on-one, and small group settings, including executive management

Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in computer science, engineering, information systems or related field and/or equivalent formal training or work experience. Requires three (3) years qualifying work experience in information technology or engineering environment. A related advanced degree may offset the related experience requirements.

Domicile: This position will be domiciled in Collierville, TN (Memphis area), Colorado Springs, CO, Irving, TX, Plano, TX (Dallas area), Orlando, FL, or Coraopolis, PA (Pittsburgh area).


Remote Work: The ability to work remotely within the United States may be available based on business need.

Relocation: Relocation assistance may be available based on business need.
