Job Summary:
Under limited supervision, designs, codes, tests and deploys software in all layers of the development life cycle. Provides the necessary documentation. Works with databases, APIs, servers, networks and various programming languages.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in computer science, engineering, information systems or related field and/or equivalent formal training or work experience. Requires three (3) years qualifying work experience in information technology or engineering environment. A related advanced degree may offset the related experience requirements.
Skills/Knowledge Considered a Plus:
• DevSecOps architecture design and principles
• Services oriented architecture, Cloud native principles
• knowledge of JAVA and J2EE principles, Weblogic
• Tools like Jenkins, Maven
• Database design and development
• Linux shell scripting
• Teradata, SQL Server, Oracle
• Agile development
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Ability to work in a flexible, fast paced environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
General Summary
This position will support enterprise financial applications that span multiple operating companies and regions. The candidate will be working on all phases of IT systems development life cycle using agile software development methodologies. In addition, the candidate will be solving technical problems/issues with Java SOA applications.
