Under limited supervision, designs, codes, tests and deploys software in all layers of the development life cycle. Provides the necessary documentation. Works with databases, APIs, servers, networks and various programming languages.
Bachelor's Degree in computer science, engineering, information systems or related field and/or equivalent formal training or work experience. Requires three (3) years qualifying work experience in information technology or engineering environment. A related advanced degree may offset the related experience requirements.
Master’s degree in computer science, engineering or information systems or related field plus 1 year of experience in the job offered or 1 year of qualifying work experience in information technology or engineering environment. The employer will alternatively accept a Bachelor's degree or equivalent* in computer science, engineering or information systems or related field plus 3 years of experience in the job offered or 3 years of qualifying work experience in information technology or engineering environment, in lieu of a Master's degree plus 1 year of experience. Must have 1 year experience with the following: Java; Apache Kafka; Java Spring; Micro Services; App Dynamics; Restful APIs; Splunk; Spring Boot. A related advanced degree may offset the related experience requirements. *Employer will accept one year directly related work experience in lieu of one year of education. May telecommute from home from any location in the U.S.
