Job Summary:
Under limited supervision designs, codes, tests and deploys software in all layers of development life cycle. Provides the necessary documentation. Works with databases, APIs, servers, networks and various programming languages.
Skills/Knowledge/Experience Considered a Plus:
- Java/J2EE technologies including Spring Boot framework
- Unix/Linux/Eclipse (IDE) - Red Hat Enterprise Linux
- JSF, JavaScript, HTML, XML
- data modeler - SQL(Oracle)
- Messaging technologies (JMS, Kafka)
- CI/CD integration experience using industry standard components and pipeline tools: Groovy Scripting, Cucumber / Gerkin, Cloudbees Flow, Testing in Isolation (Using virtualized services), Gitlab, Maven, TestNG, Gatling Scala, Grafana, Junit
- Monitoring and alerting tools: Splunk, AppDynamics
- Scripting languages (Python, Jython, Perl, Reg Expressions)
- Messaging technologies (JMS and Kafka)
- Design and development of cloud native applications
- troubleshooting
- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum/SAFe methodology
- Datastax Enterprise: Apache Cassandra/Datastax
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in computer science, engineering, information systems or related field and/or equivalent formal training or work experience. Requires three (3) years qualifying work experience in information technology or engineering environment. A related advanced degree may offset the related experience requirements.
Domicile: This position will be domiciled in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
Remote Work: The ability to work remotely within the United States may be available based on business need.
Relocation: Relocation assistance may be available based on business need.
