Job Summary: Under limited supervision, designs, codes, tests and deploys software in all layers of the development life cycle. Provides the necessary documentation. Works with databases, APIs, servers, networks and various programming languages.
Abilities/Knowledge/Skills Considered a Plus:
- Knowledge and experience with all aspects of the software development lifecycle and release management in SAFe Agile, and Waterfall methodologies.
- Experience building responsive and adaptive client applications and components, integrating with APIs, supporting browser/mobile-web applications, and providing (ADA) accessibility.
- Strong technical skills and experience using web frameworks and development technologies and tools like Angular7 (or later) framework and features, HTML5 and CSS (and/or SCSS), JavaScript (ES5 and ES6),
- Typescript or other typed languages, Integrated Development Environments (Eclipse, Webstorm), Cloudbees Jenkins and Flow, Sonarqube, HP Fortify, Qualys, GitLab, Smartling,
- Automated Testing Tools (Protractor, Cucumber, Selenium),
- Virtualization/Mocking tools (Wiremock, DevTest), Cloud Native PaaS and Hosts (PCF, Azure, GCP, AWS), and monitoring tools (AppDynamics, Splunk)
- Experience defining, implementing, and maintaining a DevOps culture while executing continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes.
Domicile: This position will be domiciled in Plano (Dallas), Texas, Collierville, Tennessee (suburb of Memphis, Tennessee), or Orlando, Florida.
Remote Work: The ability to work remotely within the United States may be available based on business need.
Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in computer science, engineering, information systems or related field and/or equivalent formal training or work experience. Requires three (3) years qualifying work experience in information technology or engineering environment. A related advanced degree may offset the related experience requirements.
