Main required skills
- Student/Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience).
- Relevant software engineering experience specializing in back-end and front-end technologies (React/Laravel. Node or Python will also be considered).
- Experience using at least one of MySQL or PostgreSQL and a non-relational database engine.
- Great analytical and time management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Fluent in written and spoken English.
We are looking for someone able to
- Review and refactor existing code into high-quality code.
- Design reliable and reusable code.
- Enhance the performance and usability of applications.
- Know how to identify and correct bottlenecks, and perform debugs and fixes.
- Work with a team of highly skilled designers, testers, developers, and project and product managers throughout the product life cycle.
- Maintain standards for reliable, scalable, and secure systems.
- Develop highly efficient user interface components.
- Analyze website performance and drive improvements.
- Detect improvement opportunities and discuss them with the team.
- Give support to other software developers and passing on knowledge.
- Work both on our customer’s projects and in internal projects or our Digital Health Innovation Lab.
Other valuable skills
- Experience using Javascript frameworks like Vue, Angular, or others.
- HIPAA/FHIR/HL7 or other protocols, standards, and Healthcare specific knowledge.
- Expertise in other back-end frameworks such as Django, Rails, Nest or Spring.
