About the Role

A fast-growing, Y Combinator-backed B2B SaaS startup in the AI-powered sales automation space is looking for a Full-Stack Engineer to build AI systems end-to-end. This is a hands-on, high-ownership role for someone with a founder mindset who thrives in a fast-paced environment and loves shipping complex, production-grade web applications. You'll be a core part of a small, product-focused engineering team delivering scalable, AI-powered software to distributors and manufacturers across industries like construction supply chain, HVAC, electrical, and plumbing.

What You'll Do

  • Own the architecture and design of AI systems from concept to production.

  • Collaborate with other engineers across the full stack.

  • Build data pipelines to process large-scale unstructured data efficiently.

  • Deploy and manage software in cloud environments.

  • Make the backend scalable, stable, and efficient.

  • Develop scalable and reusable components and API structures.

  • Write clean, maintainable code with sensible testing practices.

What We're Looking For

Required:

  • Proficiency in building end-to-end AI-powered web applications using Next.js/React on the frontend and Python on the backend.

  • Demonstrated product-minded mindset with a track record of shipping complex web applications.

  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and modern CI/CD practices.

  • Strong experience with Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and deployment.

Nice to Have:

  • Hands-on experience with ML/NLP technologies, including embeddings, vector databases, and RLHF, and deploying ML components in production.

  • Experience with ML model serving and inference pipelines in production environments.

  • Proficiency with PostgreSQL and relational data modeling.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary: $90,000 – $200,000 USD annually, depending on experience.

  • Opportunity to have significant technical impact at an early-stage, well-funded startup.

  • Note: Visa sponsorship is not available for this role.

Location

This is a fully on-site role based in Munich, Germany. Candidates must be able to work on-site and be authorized to work in Germany.
