About the role
Concept Plus is seeking a skilled Full Stack Cloud Services Developer to design, build, and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performance cloud-native applications. This role requires hands-on expertise across the full development lifecycle, including front-end and back-end development, cloud infrastructure, and DevOps practices.
- This role is fully onsite in Reston, VA (5 days per week required)
- Initial engagement runs through July 31, with potential follow-on work in a second phase
What you'll do
- Design, develop, and deploy full stack cloud-native applications and APIs
- Build and maintain scalable backend services and responsive front-end interfaces
- Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines to support automated testing and deployment
- Develop and manage infrastructure as code using Terraform
- Containerize applications using Docker and manage deployments with Kubernetes
- Integrate and manage cloud-based databases, ensuring performance and reliability
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define system architecture and requirements
- Ensure application security through best practices in IAM, encryption, and compliance
- Troubleshoot, optimize, and enhance system performance across environments
- Work within Linux-based environments for development and deployment activities
Required Qualifications
- US Citizen
- Active TS/SCI with Full Scope Poly Clearance
- Strong experience with at least one major cloud platform: Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), AWS, or Microsoft Azure
- Proficiency in one or more programming languages: Python, Java, JavaScript (Node.js), or Go
- Experience with DevOps tools and practices, including CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab)
- Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform
- Experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes)
- Strong database experience, including Oracle DB (SQL, NoSQL, PL/SQL)
- Solid understanding of networking concepts, including virtual networks and protocols
- Knowledge of cloud security principles, including IAM and encryption
- Experience working in Linux environments
- Proven ability to function as a full stack developer
- BS in Computer Science
- CompTIA Security+ certification
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience building and deploying highly available, scalable cloud solutions
- Familiarity with secure architecture design and compliance standards
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
