Full-Stack Engineer - Python/Django + ReactJS (Backend-Heavy)

Role Overview
Build end-to-end product features across React frontends and Python backends. Ship reliable, well-tested code for AI-powered healthcare applications. Leverage AI coding tools daily as a core part of your workflow.
Key Responsibilities
Product Engineering
• Develop and ship user-facing features across frontend (React, TypeScript) and backend (Python, FastAPI)
• Design and implement RESTful and GraphQL APIs; own data models and database design
• Work with relational and non-relational databases; write efficient, optimized queries
AI Integration
• Integrate OpenAI, Anthropic, and Gemini APIs into product workflows
• Develop agentic workflows, RAG systems, and LLM-powered features
• Apply prompt engineering and LLM API best practices in production
Quality & SDLC
• Write unit, integration, and end-to-end tests; maintain high code coverage
• Participate in code review, CI/CD workflows, and SDLC best practices
• Leverage AI coding tools (Cursor, Copilot, Claude Code) to increase velocity
• Collaborate with product and design on requirements and validation
Requirements
• 3–5 years full-stack development
• Strong JavaScript/TypeScript and React (or similar frontend framework)
• Backend expertise: Python (FastAPI, Django, or similar)
• API design, databases, and data modeling
• LLM API integration and prompt engineering basics
• Version control, code review, and CI/CD workflows
• Testing practices and maintainable, production-grade code
• Startup mindset, strong ownership, and AI-first working style
Nice-to-Have
• LangChain, LlamaIndex, or agentic framework experience
• Real-time systems: WebSockets, streaming, Server-Sent Events
• Cloud deployment and containerization (AWS/GCP, Docker, Kubernetes)
• SDLC maturity: pre-commit hooks, type checking, linting, test automation
• Healthcare technology or health-tech startup experience
