You will be the Senior Software Engineer Full Stack for the Hub and ModStar team. Our team designs, develops, and sustains full‑stack applications that power critical MFC missions. Responsible for development of IT solutions across all components of software systems through design, integration, implementation and support. Proficient in infrastructure, security, software development, database management systems, and systems integration. Develops using agile processes and common technology stacks.
Basic Qualifications
• Ability to obtain interim secret security clearance to start. Must be a US Citizen.
• Proven experience in full stack web development with a focus on technologies such as React, Next.js, Node.js, Redux, Tailwind CSS, Bootstrap, and TypeScript.
• Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Knowledge of database design and development using Object Relational Mapping (ORM).
• Strong understanding of software design patterns, principles, and best practices.
• Experience with agile development methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban).
Desired Skills
• Experience with containerization (e.g., Docker) and orchestration (e.g., Kubernetes)
• Strong communication and team collaboration skills
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Knowledge of security best practices and experience with security testing
• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud)
• Experience with CI/CD Pipelines, Azure, and PostgreSQL
• Knowledge of testing frameworks (e.g., Playwright, Jest, Mocha) and experience with unit testing and integration testing
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $148300.00 - $275500.00

- For (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
