SII Canada is looking for a Full stack java developer for one of its clients in Downtown Toronto.

Responsibilities:

● Develop web services based on Java technologies

● Develop and support a web-based application with responsive UI using JSP, HTML,CSS, JSON, JQuery and Angular js

● Architect, code and debug problematic code

● Follow and implement creative designs and experiences

● Build against popular Web frameworks (Spring Boot) and APIs

● Collaborate with designers, developers, business system analysts and testing specialists to deliver high quality solution

● Work with both onshore and offshore teams to ensure coding, testing, debugging and implementation activities are completed as required

● Implement designs with utmost attention to detail and creativity

● Participate in the research and evaluation of new tools and technologies

Required Skills:

● BS in Computer Science or Engineering required or equivalent experience.

● 3+ years experience developing web applications using Java, both front and back-end development

● Strong expertise in JSP, JEE, J2EE, Eclipse and web hosting technologies

● Strong expertise in Spring (boot, web,...)

● 3+ years’ development experience with hand-coding advanced HTML, CSS and JavaScript

● Experience utilizing Agile- SCRUM development methodologies

● Must be comfortable using version control systems such as Git

● Should be self-motivated and able to work independently
