Job Description

About the role

We are looking a full-stack software engineer to contribute to the development of neurotechnology applications for mental health. This position involves working with neural signal processing pipelines, developing backend software & architecture, building frontend of our web platform, integrating machine learning models for neurophysiological data analysis, and more.

We seek individuals who are passionate about neurotechnology, are excited by the technical and biological aspect of it, feel deep connection to potential impact it could have on improving patients' life and well being. Prior experience with biosignal analysis is not a requirement, but is a plus! You'll work alongside experienced engineers and researchers on active projects that bridge neuroscience, machine learning, software engineering, and clinical applications. The position requires a high degree of independence and initiative — we're looking for someone who will take ownership of their work, identify problems, and drive solutions forward.

  • Participate in code reviews and technical discussions with the engineering team

  • Document code and technical processes for ongoing project development

  • Work independently with minimal supervision while knowing when to seek guidance

What we're looking for

  • Background in computer science, software engineering, or related experience

  • Proficiency in Python and web development frameworks (Python and JS)

  • Familiarity with signal processing techniques

  • General understanding of Machine Learning concepts

  • Strong experience with version control (Git) and collaborative development practices

  • Genuine enthusiasm for neuroscience, biomedical engineering, or healthcare technology

  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and problem-solve

  • Comfortable with ambiguity and working in a fast-paced startup environment

What we offer

  • A high impact role shaping an early-stage startup

  • Salary package that offers meaningful equity in the business through our Employee Share Option Plan
