As a result of our continued growth and ongoing success, we are seeking a dynamic Full Stack Web Developer to join our team in London.
About the Role:
We are looking for a Full Stack Developer to join our development team and contribute to the development, enhancement and support of bespoke applications within our Omnichannel Division. Working alongside experienced developers, you will build robust, scalable solutions, improve existing platforms and help deliver an exceptional online customer experience. This role offers the opportunity to work across the full development lifecycle in a collaborative, agile-inspired environment, while continuously developing your technical skills and contributing to the evolution of enterprise-level digital products.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, maintain, and enhance bespoke web-based applications that support our omnichannel retail operations.
- Work closely with an experienced development team to deliver high-quality software solutions.
- Contribute to the ongoing improvement and evolution of existing platforms and systems.
- Produce robust, scalable, and maintainable code across multiple projects and applications.
- Support and maintain an understanding of the wider product landscape to ensure effective development and integration.
- Champion best practices in software development and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with colleagues to identify and resolve technical challenges efficiently and effectively.
- Embrace agile and open-source development principles to help deliver innovative solutions.
- Drive quality standards through attention to detail, testing, and code review processes.
Person Specification:
Essential
- Minimum of 2 years' commercial experience in a Full Stack Developer or similar software development role.
- Strong knowledge of PHP, HTML, JavaScript and MySQL.
- Ability to work effectively within a collaborative, high-performing development team.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical skills and excellent communication skills.
- High attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality code.
- Passion for continuous learning and developing technical expertise.
- Positive approach to delivering effective software solutions while balancing quality, efficiency and business requirements.
- Ability to work proactively, collaboratively and contribute to shared team objectives.
Desirable
- Experience or knowledge of eCommerce and online retail platforms, with an understanding of current and emerging market trends.
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
- Experience developing enterprise-grade web applications.
- Experience building native mobile applications for Android and/or iOS.
- Interest in open-source technologies and modern software development practices.
