Performance Driven Workforce (PDW) is now hiring Full-time Experienced Dynamometer Technicians for an automotive Tier 1 supplier. We are seeking hard-working, motivated and dedicated Dynamometer Technicians to join our team. The Experienced Dynamometer Technician is responsible for engine set-up, including instrumentation, monitoring the test while it's running, performing regular engine health checks and removal of the engine after test completion. This Full-time Experienced Dynamometer Technicians position based out of Livonia, MI., and offers AM, PM and overnight shifts! Shift Schedule:
- AM day shift: 8:00 am – 4:00 pm (Monday – Friday + overtime & weekends as needed)
- PM night shift: 4:00 pm – 12:00 am (Monday – Friday + overtime & weekends as needed)
- PM overnight shift: 12:00 am – 8:00 am (Monday – Friday + overtime & weekends as needed)
- Must be able to work 7 days a week, as needed
- Must be able to work 12-hour shifts, as needed

Requirements:
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent
- 4+ years of automotive mechanical related experience
- Must be a self-starter
- Must have excellent engine mechanical and electrical diagnostic skills
- Must be proficient with computers, including MS Office applications
- Must have own tools and a rolling toolbox
- Must be willing to learn and able to work overtime and weekends as needed
- Must be flexible, eager to learn and have a strong attention to detail
- Must have excellent written and verbal communication, organizational, and customer service skills
Preferred Skills:
- Associate degree or technical training in an automotive related field
- Engine teardown/build skills and able to follow an engine assembly manual
- Powertrain calibration, diagnostics or controls experience
- Able to perform simple fabrications and assemblies
- Engine dynamometer controls operation experience or training with AVL PUMA and/or A & D iTest
