Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Embraces new technology with passion
- Responsible for writing clean, secure code, ideally following a test-driven approach
- Code that others can reuse
- Apply technical knowledge and experience to create or design workable prototypes and outputs
- Translate user stories and propose design approaches or services to meet user needs and engage in meaningful interactions and relationships with users when required
- Adopt a modern approach to standards
- Apply appropriate design standards, methods and tools and ensure they are applied effectively
- Collaborative, keen to share knowledge and learn continually
- Think out of the box
- You document all aspects of software, for ongoing maintenance and revisions
- You collaborate with other IT specialists, technicians, etc., to deliver software solutions
- You participate in on-going training to stay current in required skills
Who Are We Looking For
We look for big thinkers. People who can drive positive change, step up and show what’s next – people with passion, can-do attitude and a hunger to learn and grow. In practice this means:
- You have 3-4+ years of experience in full-stack development with proficiency in Angular for frontend and Java with Spring for backend
- You have strong technical skills in these areas: Angular, Java, Javascript, typescript, HTML, CSS, Camel, Spring, Springboot, Postgres, Oracle, Git/GitLab/Jenkins
- You have strong knowledge of authentication and security mechanisms such as OAuth2, mTLS, JWT, and API security best practices
- Knowledge on create and maintain reusable Angular libraries to optimize the development of future project
- You have strong knowledge of Spring ecosystem including Spring Boot, Spring Security, Spring Data, and Spring Cloud
- You have good knowledge with dependency injection, AOP, and other core Spring concepts
- DevOps experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions)
- Knowledge with containerization (Docker) and container orchestration (Kubernetes)
- You have a degree in software engineering, computer science or similar field
- You have great analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good understanding of UI/UX design principles
- You have working knowledge of Google Cloud Platform and/or any Cloud Provider, with experience of hosting software solutions on the platform
- You have experience of Agile working environment
- You are organized and skilled in time-management
- You are very accurate and demonstrate high attention to detail
- You have a willingness to learn additional technologies and programming languages
- You have sophisticated interpersonal and communication skills
- You are fluent in English, German is a plus
