What we look for?

A Fullstack Engineer with a strong expertise in React and Java or .NET Core to design, develop, and maintain frontend and backend components.

Work Location

Hybrid. Madrid city center (Sol area). 3 days a week in the office + 2 days remote.

Main tasks and accountabilities will be:

• Design, develop, and maintain frontend components using React, aligned with enterprise UI standards.
• Implement user interfaces that integrate seamlessly with backend services built in Java (Spring Boot) or .NET Core.
• Consume RESTful APIs and ensure correct data handling, error states, and performance.
• Design, develop, and maintain backend services in a distributed, service‑oriented architecture.
• Write and maintain unit and integration tests across frontend and backend components.
• Collaborate closely with backend developers, QA engineers, DevOps, and product stakeholders.
• Participate actively in refinement, planning, development, and delivery activities.
• Ensure code quality, maintainability, and alignment with architectural standards.
• Support applications running in production, including analysis of frontend and backend issues.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of development practices, tooling, and technical solutions.

What UST expects from you?

• Proven experience as a Full‑Stack Developer in enterprise environments.
• Strong hands‑on experience with React for frontend development.
• Solid experience integrating frontend applications with RESTful APIs.
• Proven experience with backend development using Java and Spring Boot or .NET Core / ASP.NET Core.
• Experience working with relational databases and SQL (Oracle, SQL Server, or equivalent).
• Familiarity with JavaScript / TypeScript and modern frontend practices.
• Experience with version control systems (Git).
• Understanding of Agile ways of working (Scrum / Kanban).
• Basic understanding of CI/CD concepts and DevOps environments.
• Awareness of production and operational aspects of applications.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and ownership mindset.
• Comfortable working in complex, regulated enterprise environments.
• Good communication skills and fluency in English.
