POSITION OVERVIEW
Reporting to the Lead Project Manager, the Full Stack Developer will help in the development of software and specialized utility programs. The Full Stack Developer will play a key role in analyzing user needs and support in the development of software solutions for client use.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Developing and maintaining high-performing microservice applications
- Will be part of team that develops detailed and robust design, code, test, and implement proposed systems
- Developing technical solutions, and documenting the solution architecture and design using standard design tools
- Analyze and design databases within an application area, working individually or coordinating database development as part of a team.
- Design, implement, or customize software for client use with the aim of optimizing operational efficiency.
- Creating maintainable, adaptable, scalable, defect-free code using software development best practices and coding standards (i.e. software reuse, refactoring, continuous integration, test automation, secure development, Test Driven Development, static code analysis, peer/code review)
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree required. Advanced degree preferred.
- Active IRS MBI Clearance
- Minimum 4+ years of experience in development, design, and solution implementation.
- Experience with Java and JEE technologies with detailed understanding of user interface frameworks and back-end software architecture interactions.
- Experience with design and development experience of Microservices and Restful API in an AWS and Docker platform.
- Experience with container (e.g. Docker) build and deployment and with PostgreSQL and other various AWS RDS databases
- Hands-on experience with one or more frameworks such as AngularJS, jQuery, ReactJS, and Express/Node.js
- Experience working on Agile projects and understanding of Agile terminology, being part of a dynamic, highly-independent Scrum team following the standard Scrum ceremonies in a Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) environment
- Experience with front-end technologies such as JavaScript, TypeScript, JQuery, Ajax, HTML5, CSS3, and Bootstrap.
- Strong communication and collaborative skills in providing technical direction and hands-on software development to include design, development, and testing. The ability to work on multiple concurrent projects is essential.
Compensation: $120,000.00 - $145,000.00 per year
