For the sixth consecutive year, BAE Systems was named among the Salt Lake Tribune's "Top Workplaces" by our employees, earning special distinction for providing a healthy work-life balance for our valued employees. We work very hard to ensure this is a great place to work!

This new ICBM program will design, develop, produce, and deploy new payload system suites (reentry vehicles and/or countermeasures). The key payload attributes include enhancements in accuracy, lethality, and ICBM Reentry System/Reentry Vehicle (RS/RV) interoperable operations. Program activities will also include the employment of digital acquisitions through the application of digital engineering, agile software development, and open systems architectures.

BAE Systems, under the Integration Support Contract, is looking for an experienced Systems Engineer to assist the customer with developing engineering requirements in support of an advance reentry capabilities program.

Responsibilities include:

  • Provide technical advice to Government leaders and engineers.

  • Support requirements development, analysis of alternatives, verification and validation activities, and milestone preparation.

  • Prepare/review engineering analysis reports and key acquisition documents, including RFP packages.

  • Participate in technical interchange meetings, design reviews, program management reviews, certification working groups, and other technical meetings, as required.

  • Guide and develop more junior engineering team members.

You must be an experienced and skilled leader, willing to meet challenges fearlessly and balance mission priorities across your team while successfully maintaining personnel and customer relationships:

  • You thrive in a fast-paced environment.

  • You are a collaborator and love working with a greater team to further the organization's higher-level goals and objectives.

  • You are a visionary, you are able to think outside the box and implement new and innovative ideas.

  • You are customer-oriented and always try to anticipate the customer’s needs and work hard to exceed their expectations.

The Salt Lake City area offers a vast array of cultural activities and businesses including professional sports teams. It is a western states hub for world-class, cutting-edge medical and health care.

Pursuant to Government contract, this position requires US Citizenship status. This position is only located at Hill Air Force Base, Utah, due to the special-access classified working environment and is not conducive to regular “telework” or remote schedules.
