Assertive Professionals is searching for Geospatial Intelligence Analysts. These analysts are responsible for performing complex and timely geospatial, topographic, and imagery analysis in support of warfighters engaged in combat operations throughout the world. Duties include but are not limited to the Processing Exploitation and Dissemination (PED) of ground feature data and remotely sensed data such as Multi-Spectral Imagery (MSI), Light Detection and Ranging (LiDAR), and Electro-Optical Imagery.
Our client requires our candidates to meet the following qualifications:
- Minimum of six years analytical experience within DOD or relevant non-DOD employers required
- Four out of the previous six years of actual hands on experience
- Experience directly supporting military operations in both garrison and deployed environments
- Demonstrates a capability to interact professionally with senior members of the Command and partner organizations
- Working knowledge of geospatial and intelligence data management within a variety of OGC compliant applications and databases
- Proficiency in utilizing GIS applications and intelligence related automation to support analytical efforts and product development
- Performs imagery analysis and production and possess a broad understanding of collection processes and management
- Performs geospatial processing and develops new methodologies to solve complex tactical intelligence problems
Although not required by our client, the following qualifications are desired:
- Bachelor's degree with at least 2 years of additional experience with targeting and collection management
- Additional years of general experience in the fields of targeting, intelligence systems architecture and geospatial systems experience are highly desirable
- The Government may accept 2 years of additional targeted hands on experience in lieu of a Bachelor's degree
Qualified candidates will receive on average of $100,000 total annual compensation for entry/mid level. This position requires OCONUS travel for up to 120 days per deployment. Uplift is given for any OCONUS travel on top of per diem.
