About The Opportunity 


Programmed’s Facility Management department are currently seeking a HSEQ Advisor to join our team at Rottnest Island. This integral role will provide you with the opportunity support to our contract teams deliver exceptional services to our government client safely. In this role, you will be working alongside our operational teams, providing expert safety advice, coaching, mentoring and guiding with a strategic and operational focus towards the achievement of a supportive and positive safety culture. 


Nature of the Position: Permanent, Full-Time    


Reporting line: HSE Manager  


 


Key Responsibilities 



  • Support and provide safety expertise to our operational teams

  • Perform incident reporting and investigations 

  • Conduct site inspections and audits 

  • Provide sound HSEQ advice and support as required 

  • Support the development and delivery of HSEQ information and communication 

  • Delivery of inductions, training, and assessments, as required 

  • Collection and collation of HSEQ data, with the ability to interpret and provide improvement recommendations 


  


About You 


To be successful in this role, you will ideally have experience in Occupational Health & Safety, and who possesses first-class stakeholder engagement and customer service skills. Additionally, you will demonstrate and possess the following:  



  • Tertiary qualification in Health Safety and Environment or relevant experience & qualification    

  • Driver’s license 

  • Excellent time management, organisational and administration skills 

  • Relationship-building skills, including the ability to partner with managers and employees 

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
