The opportunity:

Associated Engineering, a proudly Canadian, Employee-owned Company is seeking an experienced and dedicated Human Resources Coordinator to join our team in our Calgary office. The HR Coordinator will provide support for a wide variety of human resource functions throughout Alberta

What you’ll do:

  • Supporting the day-to-day operations of HR functions.
  • Supporting recruitment including creating, and maintaining job postings, reviewing resumes, phone screening, booking interviews, interviews, and conducting reference checks.
  • Supporting our onboarding process.
  • Coordinating annual training.
  • Maintaining the integrity and confidentiality of human resource files and records.
  • Other HR tasks and projects as assigned.

Does this sound like you?

  • An undergraduate degree or diploma in Human Resources from an accredited post-secondary institution.
  • 3+ years of experience in Human Resources.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage confidential and sensitive information with professionalism.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
  • Knowledge of Alberta Employment Standards is an asset.
  • Ability to travel throughout Alberta periodically.
