Salary Range: $90,220 - $104,600
Serve as the working supervisor responsible for managing the day-to-day Task Order activities of the ILS/Program Support Team supporting the F-18 Integrated Product Team (IPT). The general scope of the position is to develop, lead, and mentor the team members while providing Government directed support. This requires integration into and close coordination with the Government Team and DCS leadership.
Essential Job Functions:
Provide level one leadership to the ILS/Program Support Team.
Provide task order leadership, administration and organizational support to the evaluation, analysis and provide advance support within the IPT environment.
Manage direct work assigned to the Team to include making immediate technical and staff allocation decisions necessary to ensure responsiveness to our Navy/Marine Corps customer.
Provide direct supervision of the ILS/Program Support Team. Hiring staff members and the assignment of staff within the team to meet tasking requirements related to task order support, ILS /Program Support requirements.
Coordinate and lead technical support activities within organizational projects.
Coordinate activities with ILS/Program Support Management, other technical teams and stakeholders.
Participate in research and development to continuously improve the organization’s environment, systems, tools and processes.
Translate work goals into concrete assignments; understand program(s) ILS/Program Support requirements. Effectively communicate expectations verbally and in writing.
Serve in an advisory capacity to Government and contractor policy-making personnel on programmatic issues and ILS/Program Support. Investigate complex ILS/Program Support issues associated with F-18 IPT work. Identify issues with potential impact and assist in the development of problem resolution strategies.
Administrative duties include, but are not limited to:
Inputs to the Task Order Monthly Status Report (MSR) and the six-month self-evaluation, and budget management of Task Order 0001.
Identify team specific training needs and coordinate team travel requests/approvals.
Coordinate with fellow managers to provide seamless support for the customer across the Team.
Required Skills:
Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.
BS/BA Degree and 6 years of directly applicable experience or 14 years of directly applicable experience if candidate does not possess a BS/BA degree. Will also consider a candidate with a master's degree and 4+ years of relevant experience.
Candidate must already possess a DOD security clearance and maintain it for the duration of employment.
Must be able to work onsite - This position is not remote work eligible.
Experience interfacing with contractors and US Government personnel.
Excellent communication skills and ability to liaison with outside agencies and ability to work independently.
Possess professionalism, courtesy, high moral character, and integrity.
Must possess a current secret and be able to gain and maintain a top secret security clearance.
Team leadership experience.
